Came with my wife for a Friday date night. The ambiance was cheerful, though the music was a couple of notches too loud. The service was excellent—our server was pleasant, attentive, and knowledgeable. The support staff was also on point, refilling our water and checking in on us regularly.
The highlight of the meal was definitely the saganaki—the pastry added a delicious crunch and flavor. Our main dishes were decent but could have used a bit more salt. That said, it’s better to need a little salt than to have too much. The dishes also felt like they leaned toward the healthier side. After a dash of salt, my flank steak was quite enjoyable. The snapper was very tasty as well, though we felt the fennel slightly overpowered some of the other flavors.
The carrots were flavorful, and the risotto made for a perfect side dish, complementing the main courses without overshadowing them.
Overall, it was a very nice experience.
I waited longer than expected for the server to take our order, and there were noticeable delays between each course. Unfortunately, some tables received their dishes before others, leading to some confusion among diners.
The Caviar Service we ordered was missing, and the server did not offer an explanation. The Grilled Octopus had a slightly burnt taste, and the Diver Scallops were average at best. The Wagyu Steak, cooked well-done instead of medium, was a letdown. The side of fries was enjoyable, but the condiments seemed neglected.
Dessert was delayed, and we opted to skip it and settle the bill. The ambient music was a bit too loud, making it challenging to converse comfortably. Overall, the dining experience left us feeling more dissatisfied than content, prompting some reservations about supporting a local establishment.
It was great that they provided me with a receipt of the transaction. The paper was of great quality! Walking the door in my way out was the best part of the night!
This experience highlighted the importance of consistency and professionalism in the dining industry. The Michelin Star that once adorned this restaurant now seems like a distant memory.
Amazing atmosphere and great food. We went for brunch and had a fun time. Molly, our server was friendly, knowledgeable and made our brunch that much better. She accommodated and gave good recommendations. I had the chicken pita with fries and a Paloma. It had great flavor and was a good size portion.
Sooo, I’ve been to Predalina a few times now, and I can say the experience has been consistently good. Water Street restaurants can be hit or miss, so I’m happy to have found one I’ll keep returning to.
I’ve sat at the bar each time, mostly since I go alone or with a friend. The bartenders are friendly and attentive for the most part. There have been a couple of times when they focused more on one side, but it never ruined my experience.
The decor is beautiful, reminds me of Italy or Greece. I’ve tried different items on their menu, and their drinks are always good. Definitely a repeat for me.
