This was our third time there. I absolutely love this place. It is beautiful and one of the most peaceful places I have visited. The grounds are so beautiful. You can wander around and enjoy the beautiful flowers, birds and butterflies. Benches are placed in random places if you just want to sit and enjoy the tranquility. The sound of the bells are the icing on the cake! We enjoyed walking along all the trails. The restaurant serves very good food. Staff are all so friendly and helpful. Don’t miss this place!
Ok! So, it’s $20pp which is not bad. We ended up spending the whole day here!! It’s beautiful & peaceful. And we had lunch at the cafe on site which was fresh & delicious! Parking is right at the entrance. There are restrooms throughout the trails & plenty of shade.
My only negative was the $10 fee for dogs! I took my 3 dogs & they enjoyed their time exploring but I think $10 per dog is too much. It used to be $5. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy that I was able to bring them but I’ve never been to a pet friendly attraction in which I’ve had to pay for dogs to come with me & I’ve been to MANY!! Not even the National Parks charge for dogs. But anyway, we enjoyed our time there. Definitely bring a water bowl & extra water for the pups.
It was a beautiful visit to Bok Tower Gardens. The drive through the orange groves reminded me of my childhood here in Florida. The visitor center had a wealth of information, clean bathrooms, a gift shop, and a little cafe to grab a bite during the visit. The gardens are beautiful. It was so nice to stroll leisurely while listening to the chimes from Bok Tower. This is a wonderful way to spend the day.
A great place to walk around among beautiful flowers and bushes. One of the rare places in FL where you can see far away from the hill top. Tower is pretty, the retreat house is just about right size to explore, and surrounding areas are full of butterflies and singing birds. Beautiful place to stop by for a 2-3 hours side trip & a lunch picnic.
There are discount tickets available from various sources/memberships. Very kids friendly.
Enchanting gardens are well worth a visit. Beautiful manicured grounds with many picturesque backdrops. Kids will appreciate Hammock Hollow Children’s Garden’s whimsical theme, which is large and entertaining. The on-site Blue Palmetto Cafe offers good food options with ample tables or take-away for a memorable picnic. Of many parks visited in Florida, Bok Tower Gardens is at the top of the list.
