Bull Moving

Movers stole from us! We had a terrible experience with this company. We paid over $1000 to move 13 minutes away. For days before, we took every single box and small piece of furniture. We even took all the drawers of dressers over ourselves so it was easier/lighter for them to carry The day of the move we had 3 SUVs and a truck also taking things back and forth. I basically only hired a moving company because I did not want my father and father in law to have to carry the heavy furniture and 1 fridge. We had everything disassembled and ready to go. This should have been a quick, easy move. The movers dragged the move out over 4 hours. They would stay inside the van for awhile and only carry one item inside at a time. We were willing to let this slide though because we understand how difficult it is to move in the Florida heat. We had three movers and tipped them each $100, gave them lots of ice water, and offered them lunch that we had ordered. However as soon as they left we noticed several items were missing, the most expensive being a PS5 and its controller. We waited a couple of days to do a full investigation and go through everything but realized it had been stolen. I called and asked to speak to the manager. He barely asked any questions because he stated he had no doubts it was stolen and knew which mover did it because he also knew he had been stealing from gas stations. Why was someone who was known for stealing sent to our home? He later called back and said the other movers were witnesses and saw the theft (interesting they didn’t say anything at the time or the few days after) and that we needed to press charges. For the inconvenience they would refund us $210. They also damaged furniture during the move. They connected us with an outside company where we had to submit a claim and may or may not be refunded for the stolen item and have to wait for the police investigation to play out. A $210 refund when we paid over $1000 and they sent us a mover that they knew was a criminal is absolutely unacceptable. And they stopped responding to my emails about the situation as well.
