I highly recommend Dr. DeDominico! I have had such a great experience with all 3 of my boys over the last 10 years. Dr. Dusty takes time every visit to come out and let me know how they are doing and what if any future treatments they may need. All 3 of my kids (unlike me as a kid) enjoy going to the dentist. They have an amazing staff too!
I used to love this dentist I found him to be nice and caring and communicative. He saw a cavity in my child’s tooth at the beginning of the year and told me that it was “cooking” and to cut out sweets and brush and floss. Needless to say cavities don’t go away something I didn’t realize at the time and it turns out that my son needed to get a crown a few months later. They required him to be put under anesthesia, they used an out of network provider which cost close to $1,000 they didn’t offer any other treatment plans, they didn’t offer any other payment plans and when I called to cancel explaining this they didn’t even try to keep my son on the schedule at all by offering anything else…. It was take it or leave it. When taking my son to another dentist to see if we could find something with more flexible options they found two additional cavities. One of which DeDomenico had referred to as “cooking” as well when consulting about the crown. I am very upset; I used to recommend this dentist to many people and publicly say how awesome he was but now I feel like he neglected my child’s care that this could have been rectified in the beginning with a filling and now my child has to have a crown and they’re not very flexible or communicative when it comes to treatment plans which is also upsetting.
Dr Copeland recommended I take my 5 and a half year old daughter to Dr Domenico, a complete different office, to have some work done. I thought it was strange that he was sending me to another practice to have her work done, but he said he didn’t have any availability in his schedule to complete the work. My daughter did not allow him to get an accurate assessment of what she needed done. So I book an appointment with Dr Domenico for an evaluation & he mentions that she has some cavities but because she would not keep her mouth open for a long period of time, he said he would need to sedate her in order to know exactly everything that needed to be done. So at the appointment while my daughter is sedated he comes and tells me everything that he is doing and also mentions that she has cavities in her two front top teeth. Meanwhile the sedation only lasts about an hour so I was under pressure to either fill them in or
pull them out. He recommended for me to pull them out & I called my husband as well & told him what Dr Domenico said, so he agreed to do what he said. It was such a fast decision to make, but I regret it so much. She is going on 7 years old and still has two missing teeth in the front top. I am beyond resentful at this point. I did have some X-rays done and she does have some teeth forming from what I was told however I am so disappointed I trusted these two dentist. Never taking my daughters back again.
This entire office is amazing! From the Front Desk ladies (Karla), to the assistance (Nikki and Odalys) and Dr. Dustin!!! I can’t recommend them more. They saved us a ton of money when I found them for a second opinion because my three-year-old daughter was told (my another dentist) that she needed two fillings. Dr. Dustin prevented it from happening. We highly recommend this place, you will not regret it!
It doesn’t get much better than Dr. Dustin DeDomenico for a Pediatric Dentist. We recently moved to Florida and we were so lucky to find this doctor. All 3 of our boys LOVE going to the dentist! He is calm, caring and attentive to each of their needs. He always clearly communicates what is going on during the exam. The boys always leave smiling. The staff is top notch as well. Always goes above and beyond so the boys have a great visit. Overall outstanding experience from beginning to end. It’s an absolute pleasure going to see this dentist!
