I ordered moving services from Good Greek in August 2024. The summary: they broke my $1,400 dresser and tried to offer me $300 for it. There is a clause in their offered payment that if you take the $300 then you cannot write a negative review online about the company. So, I chose to warn everyone versus taking their cheap offer of silence. LOOK ON THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU WEBSITE!!!! Review more than just Google.
During moving: I discussed my concern for the heavy cherry wood bedroom furniture, especially the dresser that weighed over 250 pounds, with a marble top. When I purchased it, it took 3 men and a flat dolly to move it, so I thought it would be best to request 3 moving men to handle it during the move. I paid more money for 3 men to move my dresser.
When it came time to move the large, heavy, marble top dresser, I requested that the three men put it on a flat dolly and roll it out to the moving truck. They decided that two of them could move it with no problem. So they drug the cherry oak 250 lb dresser to the truck. After they put it in the truck, they said, “look, it only took two of us!” I paid for 3 people to be moving my belongings for a reason.
Upon reaching the destination to unload my goods into a storage unit, the dresser was dropped and the marble top was shattered into numerous small pieces. The driver showed me pictures and apologized. He told me to file a claim online. I called Good Greek and spoke with Customer Service. She emailed me a form to fill out. When I returned it Good Greek offered $300. This dresser cost me $1,400. Additionally, if I were to accept the $300, I could not write a negative review about the company. I chose to warn everyone. Even though I requested these movers move my dresser properly, they did not. Even though I paid for 3 movers, only 2 were moving my heavy furniture. I saved a lot of money for that dresser and I loved it. I do not recommend Good Greek.
Cristobal Pacheco, Juan Pacheco, Richard Florence, & Saul De La Cruz are an amazing team ! They were very professional, friendly, and super strong. The were also very efficient and quick; moving heavy furniture up and down stairs like they were carrying pillows. They also made sure that were we happy with the final placement of the boxes & furniture. They made a what could have been a stressful day into a really fun day. I would 100% hire them again on our next move. He highly recommend these guys.
The workers are polite, friendly, and very respectful. They work very hard and seem to take pride in their work.
We had a two truck move that went fairly well. We did have some items damaged, some of which they were forthcoming about. A reasonably expensive pedestal table was snapped at the neck and they provided claim information (we’ll see how that plays out). We had some damage to our credenza (gouged the wood base) that we are hoping will be able to be filled and touched up. And some minor scratches/scuff marks on some other pieces and a wall or two. All in all though, they unloaded two trucks quickly and without damage.
Of all the movers we have used Good Greek was definitely the best.
Danger and his crew were awesome! Our transfer was seamless and was completed in good time. The guys were very respectful and cheerful while performing their respective duties. They took great care of our stuff and did not leave until we were satisfied. I would highly recommend this moving company and use them again if needed.
First time user of this service. Moved a 3/2 2000sf house with a lot of art and glassware for just under 10k. This was full packing and delivery out of state. There were 4 packers. They worked from 8am until 3pm with no break. Were very efficient and polite. Spoke very limited English. I’ve moved a fair number of times, and this was a very comfortable pack out. They allowed us to use boxes and paper my nephew brought over from his recent move which saved some money. I would consider using them again. #move #boxes #packing #travel #outofstate
