This is the absolute worst apartment complex to ever exist. The place is filthy and neglected, with trash piling up in the halls and staircases. The cleaning staff might show up once a month if you’re lucky. The hallways reek, maybe you can invest in some air freshener.

The garage is ridiculously far, and if you dare park in front of the building without your hazard lights on you’ll be fined $50. My bad for parking in front of the apartment I pay rent for. Apparently, if your hazards are on, you’re magically exempt, as if flashing lights somehow change the rules of parking. Just another money-grabbing scam. Some honorable mentions: the lights in the garage always flashing because they’re too cheap and lazy to fix it. There is only one elevator for the entire building and it breaks down frequently. Doors and door handles are consistently broken, then “fixed,” then broken the next week.

Security is nonexistent. They claim to have it, but apartments are getting broken into. And to the people who run the building, you are the most unhelpful and dismissive people imaginable. When you live here, expect to be treated like garbage. Avoid this place at all costs.

I’ve had a great experience living at Halo 46! The apartments are modern, spacious, and well-maintained, with great amenities like a pool, gym, and study spaces that make student life so much easier. The management team is responsive and always willing to help with any issues that come up.

Staff is great here, spacious rooms, maintenance is very attentive and quick which is great! Replaced my fridge within a day of it breaking. The dog park is also super convenience for those that have a furry friend 🙂

My best friends live here and I come over all the time. Absolutely love it! Amenities are great, especially pool and gym. The rooms are a good size and nice living space. 10/10 recommend!!!

I have lived at Halo 46 for three years, and while it started off fine, the experience has steadily declined to an unacceptable level. The management clearly does not care about the residents, as the building is always dirty, with trash scattered everywhere. There were even poop stains on the floor that remained untouched for months. To make matters worse, cockroaches are a common sight, further adding to the unsanitary conditions.

The parking garage is another nightmare. Despite paying a monthly fee, it’s far from convenient, being a long walk away and constantly filthy with trash, massive spider webs, and an awful smell. The situation with roommates was another low point—when there were issues involving damage to our property, management’s response was simply, “If it bothers you, then maybe move out.”

They seem to look for any opportunity to charge you. Leaving out an empty trash can? You’ll get charged. Locked out because the battery in your door keeps dying and never gets fixed? You’ll get charged. Parking your car out front for a few minutes? You risk getting towed or fined.

The elevator is broken often, and it can take weeks to get it fixed. They emphasize their so-called “great amenities,” but the “computer room” didn’t even have a working printer for the entire three years I lived here.

While they promote a sense of community and being “home,” their events are a joke. They only ever have enough for maybe 10 people, despite hundreds of residents living there. By the time you arrive, there’s nothing left to enjoy.

The workers, mostly college students, seem more interested in taking selfies for the apartment’s Instagram page than actually doing their jobs. If you ask them questions, they rarely have answers, and it’s obvious they get annoyed when asked for help.

The final straw was the move-out process. I was charged an extra $800 for things that were completely unnecessary. Despite leaving the room clean, I was hit with a $150 cleaning fee for “trash left behind” and $300 for an ottoman that was already scratched when I moved in.

The only reason to live here is if you’re desperate. The complex is filthy, you get overcharged for everything, and management couldn’t care less about your safety or happiness. Life is definitely not better at Halo 46. If you’re considering moving here, don’t.
