My wife and I had a fantastic experience buying a used pool table. Alana was the person that helped us and I can tell you she was knowledgeable about her products and more importantly to us, she was NOT a cheesy high pressure sales person. She was personable and transparent, which is what we hoped for after dealing with another competitor in the area that was constantly annoying us to buy. The table we bought was in almost flawless condition. They had it delivered when they said they would and their delivery guys were professional and courteous. I would highly recommend Robertson to anyone.
Had every intention of buying a pool table and ping pong table from this company but they started playing games with prices they quoted me. I was quoted a price for a brand new table then they tried to sell me a demo unit for the same price. Then they said they couldn’t include the $200 ping pong table they had offered as they were all gone now. All within less than a week’s time. I was ready to buy but asked to see the table on the floor. They promised me it would be up “this week”. No one ever called to tell me to tell me it was or wasn’t up (It wasn’t). Then I called today and was told they couldn’t promise to get the table on the showroom before it sold out. Then told me they were out of the ping pong top they were going to include, and they wouldn’t take the $200 (cost of ping pong table) off the quote. Then stopped responding to my messages saying even if they gave me the table at the original price it wouldn’t change my “Energy” towards their company. Not sure what that means but I was willing to buy. Just honor what you tell your customers. Big waste of time.
We went in to the Tampa store & dealt with Bill. After explaining the options, he made us a quick appointment and arrived ready to work. He changed the rubber & the felt but in actuality, dismantled the entire table. We were so thrilled with the service. From the no pressure sales in the shop to the actual installation, we were completely impressed with Robertson (and particularly Bill) and would never go anywhere else!!
I called them because they are my neighborhood family owned brick and mortar retailer. I spoke with Aliyah (sp?) who was very nice but she made a mistake on price (SEE BELOW TEXT MESSAGES). I understood but I asked her to honor the price or at least compromise with me. She politely advised me she needed her manager/mother to review it and call me back. Since then I’ve called her several times in the past three weeks. I have not received a return call or the basic common courtesy of a response. I’m very disappointed. Integrity, honesty and courtesy still matter!

Simply amazing! I never visited the store and did it all online and over the phone. Alana, TJ and James all know their stuff and took very good care of us! I live on a bridge-less barrier island so it was not an easy purchase and install.
