I came to My IT Future through the WOIA program for the Project management certification. I’m so glad I came here because you’re given so much support from the staff and instructors. Scott MacDonald was my mentor and he was amazing at ensuring my success and getting me in contact with the right people. You’re given a lot of study material including flash cards, that is easy to follow as well as practice exams that is timed to simulate the actual exam you’re taking. If you ever need support, whether you need to retake the class or just feeling discouraged, you’ll have many resources available to guide you in the right direction. I also love how they help you gain employment, after you’ve obtained your certificate by making sure your resume is aligned with the roles your going for and sending you job leads for the geographic area your seeking employment in. You will not be disappointed.
This was my first experience with MY IT Future, and my dealings with the staff has been unmatched. I’ve taking 5 course class ranging from ITF to Cybersecurity Analyst, which is my last course. I haven’t taking any exams yet, but with the help of My IT Future I had my first interview/Offer and it hasn’t been six month. This was a great choice for and I hope it’s a good choice for you.
I know them from a Grant I got through My career source Hernando/Pasco County. They were in charge of the training for the IT certification process (CompTIA, CCNA,Microsoft). The training is fully online. The instructor is always on time and eager to share his knowledge with the trainees. Organized and knowledgeable staff. My consultant was Michael Buckenberger who was from the first call an excellent guide. He checked on me from time to time to know how I was doing and if I needed more training so he can find a spot for me in one of the classes currently running (exam crams or even extra classes for the same certification training I have already taken). Recently I got a Job offer thanks to the different emails that I got from their team in charge to connect students with recruiters (Madison Rosa). That definitely speeds up that job hunting process because they help you tune your resume to make it look more attractive to employers with the info you provide. Long story short, my experience was excellent with them and the resources they have to make you grow professionally is enough to achieve your goals. I highly recommend them. PS: The content on each course is dense and needs to be taken seriously. There is no magic trick that only attending to classes will get you certified. You need to be thorough and disciplined with the studies by yourself and the practices online so you can absorb all the knowledge they want to convey.They are always for you if you want lo learn…
New Horizons has been very Professional and accommodating from the first day I connected with Dewey. He was very thorough and made sure I understood the process and answered every question and made sure I had everything I needed to begin my PMP class.
My instructor, Bonnie Cook was also very Professional and very well organized. She contacted me prior to the class to be sure I was set to go and made the actual class enjoyable. She has a wonderful personality and is extremely knowledgeable on the subject. She reviews all the test questions and allows time for you to respond if you are not clear on something. Bonnie also had a follow-up meeting with us just in case we had any other questions and was/is truly concerned about us. New Horizons and the team want you to succeed and it reflects with their actions. I was very impressed by everyone I worked with to make my class enjoyable and successful. I highly recommend them, you won’t be disappointed and good luck on your endeavor!
I recommend New Horizons Tampa Bay for anyone looking to get a quick start in the IT field, or to expand upon current knowledge by preparing to obtain industry certification(s). As an avid user of New Horizon’s training programs for exam/certification preparation and college student, I can say that New Horizons provides a great, positive and supportive atmosphere. The “small” community feel, and close interactive culture between students and staff/instructors allows for a comfortable learning space.
The New Horizons staff has always worked well with me, and has historically always been there to assist me both in and out of the classroom. The programs they provide maximize the student’s ability succeed in passing exams and obtaining industry certifications. I plan to continue using New Horizons in the future.
