If this guy had just done his job a year and a half ago, I would have feeling in my feet, ankles, legs, left hand and lower face. He looked at my old Labs and didn’t think that the 5.8 a1c was suspect even though the preferred A1C is under you coming back 5.6. That would have been the clue for diabetic neuropathy. But no, he ordered one thyroid test which was negative. He said he didn’t like my insurance, Humana Care Plus. He wasn’t interested in investigating further and recommended a teaching hospital, whatever the hell that is. Sadly, when it comes to incompetent, easy-money-only doctors, he’s not alone. He was just the first of four.

All I can say is just because you don’t look like a typical diabetic, you can be a diabetic. Diabetes is the number one cause of peripheral neuropathy. If your feet are going numb, it’s diabetes, imho. Go to the YouTube videos done by real doctors, and learn how to change your diet without suffering. Hint: eat more fatty foods along with your vegetables. Avoid fruit like the plague unless you can eat less than five grapes a day. I certainly cannot.

In one week of stopping eating fruit and breads, my hair stopped falling out. Despite eating more fat, I’m losing weight. The fruit and the carbs were killing me. All of this is backed up by National institutes of Health studies. Don’t trust me. Don’t trust the internet. But you can trust the doctors who are standing there creating videos putting their practices on the line in order to help us, for free.

If this guy had just done his job, the neuropathy wouldn’t have progressed as far and I wouldn’t have had two years of terror wondering what was happening to me and when I was going to die from it. Some diabetic neuropathy attacks internal organs.

It took five neurologists and a rheumatologist before one didn’t like the 5.8 a1c. A year and a half ago I told my primary, Dr. Veronica Angullo Diaz, I thought it was diabetes and she laughed. So I trusted her instead of my own judgment. If I had stuck with changing my diet, I would never have had the neuropathy spread so far. Either way, you can’t hurt by correcting your diet. For some it’s not going to be very easy because if you’re an alcoholic, we all know that’s not just about changing diet.

Dr. Eliazer is amazing. I loved my first visit with him, he was so personable, kind, caring, patient and funny. Then when I didn’t think it could possibly get any better than it already was, he actually called me himself to go over a medication. He is truly an excellent doctor and person!

Dr. Eliazer was very personable and relatable. He expressed care and concern about the reason for my visit. I feel his assessment of my issue and the treatment plan were appropriate. The rest of the staff provided great customer service, from the time I entered and checked-in until I check-out. I would definitely recommend this location.

Kind, courteous, and compassionate. Dr. Eliazer always takes the time to speak with me and listen to my concerns before giving his opinion. Truly rare to have engagement in the medical industry. Thank you, Dr. Eliazer!

Very nice, but I would be happier if they would take the time to find out what what’s causing my Neuro issues. Eliazer told me what he thought it wasn’t. He ordered blood work on what he thought it might be. He did not tell me that I needed to refrain from all medications and supplements and food prior to giving blood because that would affect the results. I only found that out after I gave the blood. Results came back normal so I’m lucky. And then he ghosted me. Call the office 5 times and left messages and spoke with staff. Silence. Had to call the insurance company to find out what to do next. Thankfully they will pay for a second opinion. Now, I’m waiting another 3 months to see another neurologist.

In the meantime, based on my extensive research of NIH studies, I continue with the B vitamin therapy. It seems to be helping or at least slowing whatever is causing the problem.

It’s such a shame. I really liked him. I never dreamed I would have to give him a negative review.
