We love our new hot tub from Tampa Bay Spas in Lakeland. This is a family owned business and the family is great! JR was such a help to us in making a decision on the new spa. We not only have a new spa, but new friends, as well.
My wife and I just purchased a hot tub from Tampa Bay Spas Lakeland Hot Tubs. My wife has severe muscle back pain which flares up every time she stands for long periods of time. She loves cooking and preparing food for family. It was getting to the point that she was very limited on how long she could stand to prepare for family dinners or cooking at all.
The Holidays were a problem, we ended our Christmas’s and Thanksgiving’s in the Emergency Room trying to to get the pain under control.
We even tried to treat the pain with massages twice a month. It was only a temporary relief.
My wife, since purchasing and using the hot tub have not had a single twinge of back pain. The very first time in the hot tub has relieved all her pain. She has been testing her limits and has been cooking and enjoying things in a way she hasn’t been able to do for years.
We are both truly amazed. Why did we wait so long. It has been a blessing.

Bought an American Whirlpool hottub from this company two years ago. Went with a local company, knowing we would pay more, because support was important to us. When I bought the hottub they told me they were closing them out. I specifically asked if they would still service them and I was told YES. Now the hottub can’t get hot (I keep it set at 104 degrees and it is stuck at 99) so I called them to see about getting it serviced. Now they no longer service these hottubs and that I need to call the company to see who can service it. Bought it on 1/4/2023 and now no support. Guess now that they have my money, I’m on my own. Would never go back there again.
UPDATE: The closest authorized service center for these hot tubs is so far away that I have to pay them $472 for mileage and time for their technican to come to our home. I am at a loss for words.
LATEST UPDATE: Emailed their main location detailing what I was told. That was nearly a week ago and no response. I called the Brandon store to see if anyone would offer any kind of assistance and all I got was sorry. No offer to help with the cost to fix it; no offer to take care of the labor if I bought the part; no solution/option of any kind. The lack of support leaves me dumbfounded. I hope others will see this review before considering doing business with these people.
