The Henry Student Living

As my daughter is a senior this year, I wanted to let future parents know about The Henry, and how happy we have been with it. Our daughter has lived there for a year and a half now, and her lease goes through July. First of all, there is a very friendly staff who cares about their residents; they are always planning fun things to do. The building is extremely nice and the amenities are some of the best I’ve ever seen for student housing anywhere! The downtown location is also unbeatable, as you can walk to many restaurants and bars as well as head over to the river walk quickly. We highly recommend this place. Our daughter McKenzie has worked for The Henry as long as she has lived there; it has been a great experience for her. If you need more information or would like to sign a lease- go over and see McKenzie and she will gladly help you.

2ND IPDATE::: it is mid December 2024 now. The twins have been living in separate apartments since August. We are grateful there has not been 1 complaint about anything living in the Henry & staff continues to be phenomenal. We experienced what it is like living in Florida during hurricane season and are extremely happy & relieved to report that The Henry did not sustain any damage thru hurricanes Helene & Milton at all. The building is state of the art solidly built to withstand extreme weather and is on higher ground than many other locations in downtown Tampa so there was not any flooding. Additionally our building manager Tyler stayed in residence thru the hurricanes and even provided videos of conditions there at the Henry. Such dedication and care is rare & we hope he is appreciated for all the work he puts into making sure everything runs smoothly & residents are safe & happy with their living conditions. Tyler is truly an awesome individual ….Maintenance staff is also great and provide outstanding care of this beautiful property which is continually kept clean, fresh & updated. We will continue to recommend The Henry as the best complex for student living in Tampa. They fill up fast so if you will be attending UT, get in to sign a lease asap.

UPDATE: we checked the kids into the Henry yesterday on 8/21/24. Ive travelled a lot & am very picky about quality, cleanliness & service. Check-in day was well organized & smooth. It was very busy with many families checking their students in, going in & out with all their personal belongings, luggage’s etc. The staff went above & beyond to make sure everyone was welcomed , had the individual attention they needed, showed great positive energy to everyone & with smiles on their faces. You really couldn’t expect any more from the staff. They gave it their all…The property is beautiful, very clean and very secure. Each of our rented apartments were found thoroughly cleaned, well maintained and all appliances seemed to be functioning properly. (Everything is fairly new.) We hope our twins have a great start here at the Henry. Will update again in a few months.

Our twins will be attending University of Tampa this fall. We compared pricing for dorms & off campus housing and the Henry is a beautiful option! The building is new, w/spacious clean beautiful apartments and the location is great (walking distance to shops, restaurants & very close to UOT..) They also have a shuttle that runs all day to UofTampa.We visited the Henry this past March. The staff was excellent, welcoming,friendly, personable & a pleasure to deal with! We enjoyed the great tour with Mackenzie, & it’s clear you really can’t get better than this if you’re comparing pricing with student dorms. The front/Mgmnt/staff were so patient with helping us fill out the electronic forms for the applications & leases. They went above & beyond in not only answering our many questions but offering additional helpful information. We highly recommend the Henry if you’re considering housing near UofT. Thank you all! As a first time renter, The Henry has been somewhere that quickly became my home! The property is well maintained and staff exceeds expectations every time. Special thank you Katelyn for making the leasing process quick and easy.
